ROCKVILLE, Md. - Summit Research Associates Inc. announced the publication of two new reports: Kiosks and Internet Technology - Global Statistics and Trends (KIT-GS) and its first-ever Kiosk Industry Directory. The reports comprise the fifth edition of Summit's flagship report, Kiosks and Internet Technology (KIT), originally published in February 2004. Summit has divided the report into two pieces - one with trends, stats and charts, the other with only company profiles.
KIT-GS examines recent trends, provides projections for the kiosk installed base, CAGR and revenues from the present time through 2007. The report also includes 35 charts and tables on the leading kiosk issues and examines the industry from many perspectives, including: the average number of users per day, average revenue per day, average length of time spent at the kiosk, leading design issues, leading types of peripherals used, most popular kiosk applications and lessons learned.
The statistics were compiled from an extensive survey sent to hundreds of deployers and total solution providers around the world.
The KID features company profiles of more than 500 companies in the kiosk industry, representing 45 countries around the world. Company profiles include addresses, phone and fax numbers, Web sites, points of contact, primary and secondary kiosk activities, detailed product summaries, and key clients and partners. Included is an Excel spreadsheet of data covered in the KID.
