POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics has released its SM-L300 mobile printer, offering features for POS and logistics applications, according to a press release. The printer exceeds the standard 13-hour battery life to offer 41-hour battery life.
The unit's ability to print traditional and liner-free re-stick labels from 40-80mm wide allows users to print a range of receipts and labels at any location whether at the table, the checkout or on the move.
The SM-L300 with OLED display features Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) as well as classic Bluetooth connectivity, enabling the facility to connect with Android and Windows devices as well as multiple Apple iOS devices. With reflective (black mark), transmissive and paper end sensors as well as an 80mm (3-inch) print width, the SM-L300 is suited for printing in-store, in-field receipts and visit reports.
Designed to operate from either a person's belt or using the in-vehicle mount option, the printer sits comfortably in the 5V counter top cradle charger and can also be charged using a micro USB cable.
"With its exceptional 41-hour battery life and ability to print receipts and traditional or re-stick labels of varying widths at any location, the SM-L300 provides ultimate versatility for a range of POS and logistics applications," Annette Tarlton, marketing director, Star Micronics EMEA, said in the press release.
