Stanford using interactive kiosks in new Visitor Center

Earlier this week,Stanford Universityunveiled six recently-installed interactive kiosks — electronic guidebooks with individual sound systems — in the Stanford Visitor Center.

The touchscreen-activated kiosks allow visitors and high school students considering Stanford to take virtual tours, watch videos of student activities and read descriptions of notable buildings and campus eateries. They also feature an events calendar showing visitors what's happening on campus that day and the two days after.
