According to an Associated Press report on USAToday.com, Southwest Airlines yesterday suffered an outage of its airport-technology systems that prevented passengers nationwide from printing boarding passes from its self-service check-in kiosks for part of the day.
Airline spokeswoman Christi McNeill told the AP that the problems were fixed by late afternoon.
According to McNeill, customers were still able check in from home or on mobile devices, and the airline didn't know what caused the outage.
