SK Broadband and Online Pharm have developed a multi-lingual, self-serve kiosk that allows consumers to order and pay for prescriptions and receive medical counseling, according to a Korea Times report.
The kiosks, which allow customers to use a QR code or barcode to order and pay for a prescription, offers three languages: English, Japanese and Chinese.
The kiosks can also promote OTC drugs like supplements, vitamins and minerals.
SK Broadband, an internet service subsidiary of SK Telecom based in Seoul, South Korea, also supports point-of-sale programs to provide inventory and sales management and a 24-hour monitoring system.
