South Carolina county visitors center installs kiosk

The Aiken County Visitors Center in downtown Aiken, South Carolina, has installed a kiosk that consists of a mounted iPad to allow residents and tourists to learn about leisure attractions, according to the Aiken Standard.

Ashley Havird, tourism coordinator for the county, said the kiosk will inspire visitors to spend more time in the county.

The information is divided into categories: equestrian, attractions, tours and events, things to do, parks and outdoors, arts and entertainment, and accommodations and restaurants.

There also is a "gallery" category with photographs from around the county.
