Source Technologies has released its latest self-service bill pay kiosk for retailers wanting to offer in-store bill pay options.
The 6-Series kiosk is about one square foot and runs on the company's software application, which is PCI compliant and constructed on a configurable platform for self-service applications. The kiosk comes with an industrial-grade projective capacity touchscreen and an all-metal enclosure. The touchscreen is made from the same technology Apple employed for its iPhone, the company said.
The kiosk offers custom authentication, cash accept and dispense and takes cash, check, credit and debit card. The 6-Series is designed to limit in-store congestion, improve cash flow with nightly funds processing; decrease risk of counterfeiting, fraud and shrinkage; and improve employee productivity and customer service with multilingual options.
"Aite Group estimates that U.S. consumers make more than 900 million in-person bill payments," said Keith Hamilton, CEO of Source Technologies, in a company news release. "To effectively manage these payments, retailers must explore new technologies to provide customers an easy way to pay bills without waiting in long lines."
