Sophatar ProxiPay-Go allows users to view products, pay by phone

Sophatar has introduced ProxiPay-Go, a software-as-a-service solution to turn any display into a revenue-generating kiosk with integrated contactless payment, according to a press release.

Users are able to see products and services on-screen, place a purchase from their phone and pay at one or more nearby pay terminals.

Multiple customers can place orders simultaneously from their own phones.

ProxiPay-Go enables mobile orders on-premise while avoiding the typically higher card-not-present fees of e-commerce transactions. The solution does not require any change to an existing POS.
