Sony signs $4 million photo kiosk deal

Australian IT: Sony Australia has signed a $4.2 million deal with photo kiosk placement company 1st Digital to supply 1,000 digital photographic printers, including paper and PictureStation software, for the retail sector. Under the deal, believed to be the largest of its kind, 1st Digital will install Sony printers and PictureStation Kiosk Software for consumers to create hard copy prints from digital images.
