October 4, 2012

The rollout of SoloHealth Station kiosks gained more ground as the company announcedyesterday that it will deploy the units to select Walmart stores beginning this fall. The news comes just a week after the company announced that Sam's Club would become the first warehouse store to house the wellness screening kiosks.

Also included in yesterday's announcement was the company's plan to demo the SoloHealth Station at the Health 2.0 Conference taking place in San Francisco on Oct. 7. SoloHealth CEO and founder Bart Foster will be speaking on behalf of his company and product.

"We are excited to demonstrate the Station at one of the industry's biggest events, as consumers across America will start seeing SoloHealth Stations at Walmart stores in the coming months," Foster said. "Walmart shares our vision of bringing access and tools to consumers that empower them to take control of their health. We believe that awareness and education are keys to a healthy lifestyle, and we're bringing a comprehensive self-service technology to consumers across America."
