Software company releases hospitality kiosk for use in hotels

SensyTouch, an Irvine, Calif.-based software company, announced the release of a multi-touch kiosk for use in hotel lobbies that helps guests explore the hotel and surrounding areas by providing directions, travel options, catalogs, menus, reservations and tickets.

The kiosk displays are either table-mounted or wall-mounted, range in sizes from 42 to 92 inches and come with a 64-bit Windows 7 system, an Intel i7 core processor and HD resolution.

According to the announcement, SensyTouch kiosks provide other hotel functions and information, such as quick check in, express checkout, interactive maps of the hotel, pool hours, room styles, laundry facilities and Internet services.
