EVERSON, Wash. - SMO Multimedia Corp., a kiosk system and software designer, has retained a German firm known for helping growth companies obtain financing.
Robert Pratt, SMO's chief executive officer, said in a news release that Standart Capital has already made key introductions for the company as it seeks investment and exposure in world markets. Standart, based in Liechtenstein, Germany, is known for its expertise in mergers and acquisitions, institutional investments, joint ventures and for giving companies exposure in Europe, the release said.
SMO specializes in design and placement of kiosks for malls, airports and the hospitality industry. The company announced a planned merger with Skytalk Communications Inc. (OTC: SKLK) last summer. The deal is pending. It also is in a business alliance with Imagis Technologics Inc. to market biometric imaging systems at airports throughout the world.
