BOCA RATON, Fla.--SmartClixx, a provider of in-house stored value card solutions, has installed its SmartClixx Stored Value Card (SVC) application in Boscov's department stores.
Boscov's, with more than $1 billion in annual sales, is the largest family-owned department store chain in the country. Boscov's operates nearly 3,500 terminals in 41 department stores that anchor malls in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York.
The SmartClixx SVC provides retailers with a flexible, in-house stored-value card application for gift cards, merchandise credits, and promotions such as the Boscov's Smart Coupons.
According to Dean Sheaffer, Boscov's senior vice-president for credit and CRM, "SmartClixx is a tremendous enhancement from our previous stored value/gift card provider. The avoidance of per-transaction fees, enhanced reporting capabilities, increased flexibility and total independence from a third-party processor Â… relieve a great deal of our previous frustration."
