At today's opening of the Marina Bay Sands Casino in Singapore, customers were introduced to the QuickJack2 kiosk solution and to the QuickTouch product, both developed by NRT Technology Corp., according to a release from NRT.
These kiosk solutions enhance the customer experience by accelerating cash handling functions typically performed by the cage or guest services, according to the release.
The QuickJack2 product is deployed by casinos world-wide, allowing customers to perform self-service functions such as ticket redemption, bill breaking and ATM services. Its versatility allows users to purchase tickets, redeem points, make reservations, manage loyalty accounts, buy stored-value cards and perform authorized inquiries.
In Singapore, local residents must pay a daily or annual levy in order to enter the casino. At the Marina Bay Sands casino, 28 NRT QuickTouch kiosks were stationed outside casino entrances to facilitate faster entry into the casino. The kiosks validate the identity of local Singaporeans, display payment options, processes payments (cash, debit or credit) and confirm transaction status to a host system.
