TORONTO - According to a news release, Signifi Solutions Inc., makers of QuickPIX digital photo finishing kiosk software, opened the doors to the company's new headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
"After months of planning and building, we're extremely excited and proud of our new home," said Shamira Jaffer, president of Signifi Solutions. "Our new facilities bring everything together under one roof, so we can continue to develop and implement our QuickPIX self-serve photo finishing solutions with greater speed and efficiency."
Signifi will continue development of its next generation of QuickPIX do-it-yourself digital photo kiosk systems from their new location and has already extended the company's technical and marketing support services.
In an accompanying release, the company announced the appointment of David Press as senior vice president of sales. Press will be responsible for new business development, strategic relations and sales worldwide.
Press joins Signifi from Konica Minolta Photo Imaging, where he served as vice president of sales. He was responsible for on-site equipment, overnight photo finishing, professional products and private label sales. Press began his career more than 25 years ago with Revlon. Throughout his career he has worked at major consumer products companies and has extensive knowledge of the cruise line industry, as well as drug, food and mass merchandising retail markets. He has created new sales organizations from their inception and successfully launched new product introductions into the marketplace.
