In a recent survey of senior housing professionals, sponsored by Senior Housing News and Philips, 80% of respondents indicated their facilities have increased the tech budget to address issues caused by the pandemic. This number is expected to increase in 2021.

Investing in telehealth kiosks, check-in technology, remote patient monitoring and more may go well beyond the pandemic, offering staff, residents, and guests conveniences and efficiency, according to a press release.

Senior living facilities can utilize kiosks to deliver everything from telehealth services for residents to check-in and wayfinding capabilities for guests, Josh Knapp, a kiosk expert at Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc., said in a press release. They can even provide staff with on-site training solutions or time clock management.
