Charlie's Takeaway, an Australian restaurant chain, has seen 80% of its customers embrace self-service kiosks after implementing a system from Proper, a point-of-sale and self-service solutions provider, according to a press release. The kiosks, powered by Bite software, have streamlined ordering, improved order accuracy and allowed staff to focus on food preparation and customer service, according to Charlie's Takeaway owner Michael Everett.
"We've seen fantastic results since we introduced the kiosks, and the customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive," Everett said in the release. "The combination of Proper's reliable hardware and Bite's powerful software has made the transition seamless for both our team and our customers. It's been a game-changer for our business."
The Bite software offers customizable menus and upsell prompts, contributing to a positive customer experience and potentially higher sales. Bite CEO Jayden Petherick highlighted the software's intuitive design and its contribution to operational efficiency.
"We're thrilled with how Proper and Bite have come together to create such an effective solution for Charlie's Takeaway," Petherick said in the release. "Our goal is to provide an intuitive, frictionless ordering experience that enhances both the customer journey and the operational efficiency of restaurants. This partnership has proven to be a win-win for all parties involved."
