Self check-in kiosks have been launched in Malta International Airport as part of the airport's latest effort to improve customer service, according to Airport-Technology.com.
The new automated check-in kiosks include a touchscreen where travelers can print boarding passes, choose their own seats and drop off luggage. The self-service system is designed to reduce lobby traffic and provide customers with more control over their travel experience.
"Apart from improving our airport's passenger flow, this service will allow passengers more time to enjoy the various facilities in our terminal," Markus Klaushofer, Malta International Airport CEO, said.
