Security software firm releases kiosk app with new features

Building Intelligence, a software provider of technology solutions for security practitioners and facility operators, has released its latest version of SV3 Mobile, available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, according to broadwayworld.com. The new kiosk app includes check in with email, NDA signature capture, watch list integration and upgraded scanning features.

The signature capture supports use cases including signing NDA terms and conditions, and acknowledging training and safety courses. The kiosk solution can be used on a PC all-in-one touchscreen, Android tablet or iPad. The solution has a camera, a tenant directory, and if needed, a driver's license scanner.

The new kiosk option of checking in with email supports visitors that are scheduled but cannot find their email with QR code since they lost it or cannot open the email because they do not have a smartphone. When checking in, the visitor's email links the visitor to the invitation that was sent and checks them in.

The driver's license scanner software can be added as a peripheral service or embedded in the tablet. Security officers, receptionists and event managers can use the kiosk to manage pre-registered visitors and walk-ins or to capture NDA signatures.
