PHILADELPHIA -- Consumers throughout the country can learn about and purchase Comcast high-speed Internet service at more than 290 Wireless Retail store-in-a-store locations in Sam's Clubs, BJ's Wholesale Clubs, Menards, Kmart and other major retailers.
This new product offering is available as a result of an agreement between Wireless Retail Inc., one of the nation's top five retailers of service-based technology products, and Comcast, broadband Internet service provider.
"We are excited to increase our offerings to include Comcast's High-Speed Internet service," said Dan McMahan, Wireless Retail president and CEO. "We are always seeking high-quality products that are of interest to our retail partners and their customers."
"Our agreement with Wireless Retail, which has one of the country's largest retail distribution networks, makes it easy and convenient for customers to learn about Comcast High-Speed Internet where they shop," said Chris Caffrey, vice president of retail sales for Comcast.
Wireless Retail pioneered the store-in-a-store model, placing professionally trained sales consultants in consumer-friendly fixtures inside retail partners' stores to leverage existing traffic. Wireless Retail is the only company in the country currently operating this type of program in major national retail chains.
