Sainsbury’s store bags more self-service checkouts

The Sainsbury’s store in Bath, U.K. has installed more self-service tills as part of a refurbishment, the Bath Chronicle reports. The store, located in Bath’s SouthGate shopping center, has also redesigned its checkout area.

The Bath Chronicle quotes a Sainsbury’s spokesman as saying that the self-service scanners are mainly intended for people who shop in their lunch times and want to serve themselves.
