Rutter's selects Radiant POS, self-service system

November 10, 2005

ATLANTA - Radiant Systems Inc. announced in a news release that it has contracted with Rutter's Farm Stores to deploy Radiant point-of-sale in all 50 of the Pennsylvania retailer's sites, including 36 stores that also will deploy the Radiant Customer Self-Service (CSS) solution.

"We chose Radiant not only because of the breadth of their technology offering but also because of their commitment to industry standards," said Scott Hartman, chief executive officer of Rutter's Farm Stores, which offers made-to-order sandwiches and other fresh food in many of its convenience stores. "We wanted a supplier who is equally strong in fuel, convenience and food service."

The Radiant solution, including Radiant's POS software, CSS software, kitchen production system, P1550 hardware terminals and Tiger fuel controllers, will integrate to the PDI-RMS back office utilizing the PCATS-NAXML interface, continuing Radiant's leadership in deploying this industry standard. The interface will enable both foodservice and c-store businesses to be managed from a single back-office application.
