Rite Aid has signed on with telehealth kiosk provider HealthSpot to station HealthSpot kiosks inside select Rite Aid locations in Akron/Canton, Cleveland and Dayton/Springfield markets in Ohio.
Patients can connect to board-certified medical professionals across Ohio through the HealthSpot network. The kiosks are designed to connect clinicians to local communities as well as extend hours and serve more patients.
HealthSpot stations enable access to clinicians via videoconferencing and interactive medical devices for treatment of minor health conditions such as "cold and flu, rashes and skin conditions, eye conditions, earaches and seasonal allergies," the company said.
