Restaurant order and delivery service integrates Star Micronics printers

MunchEm, an online order and delivery service, has added support for Star Micronics SP700 and TSP100III printers, according to a press release.

MunchEm's order management platform, OrderEm, allows restaurants to manage online pickup and delivery orders placed from self-serve kiosks and web or mobile apps. Restaurants can use OrderEm to assign delivery orders; both the restaurant and the customer can also track the driver.

Star's SP700 features the ability to withstand high heat, whereas the TSP100III printer is designed for counter printing. The TSP100III can be used to print non-kitchen orders such as smoothies, prepacked sandwiches or coffee, or to print the receipt for a take-out order.

The TSP100III is also compatible with the Star Micronics suite of cloud-based customer engagement services, including AllReceipts and PromoPRNT, which allow restaurants to offer digital receipt and printed promotions to their customers for free.
