RedyRef Interactive has deployed its Smart Food Fridge, an RFID-enabled refrigerated vending machine, at Aquila Commercial's Hartland City Club, according to a company press release. The device offers pre-packaged meals, snacks and beverages supplied by Royal Blue Grocery.

The Smart Food Fridge utilizes a "Tap, Take, Go" system. Customers initiate a purchase by tapping a payment method on the terminal, which unlocks the fridge door. Upon closing the door after selecting items, the RFID system automatically registers the removed products and charges the customer's account.

"We are thrilled to partner with Royal Blue Grocery and Aquila Commercial to bring this innovative food service solution to the Hartland City Club," Will Pymm, managing director and SVP of Redyref, said in the press release. "The Smart Food Fridge is designed to meet the evolving needs of today's busy consumers who demand convenience and quality. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to providing cutting-edge technology that enhances the customer experience and streamlines operations for our partners."

Royal Blue Grocery will manage product stocking for the machine, providing a range of food and beverage options. The fridge is located within the Hartland City Club amenity space.
