Redbox celebrates birthday with free movie night

Redbox will celebrate its 10th birthday tomorrow with a one-day giveaway of movie or game rentals.

On Oct. 10, customers can go to the Redbox Facebook page to find the promo code for the free rental, usable at any Redbox location, a company announcement said. In addition, for participants who sign up to join the Redbox email or text list, the company is giving away an extra $0.50-off code good for any one-day rental through Sunday, Oct. 14.

"Redbox is all about easy and affordable entertainment, so there's no better way for us to celebrate our 10th birthday than by giving America a free night of entertainment," said Anne Saunders, president of Redbox.
