The Kroger Co. raised more than $3.3 million this year to benefit the United Service Organizations from its Honoring Our Heroes Campaign, the company said.

Funds were collected via customer donations and the Honoring Our Heroes sales event. The company earmarked $100,000 for customers to nominate which USO program will receive additional funds. Customers can vote at www.HonoringOurHeroes.com and click "You Choose Kroger Give."

In addition, Kroger and Redbox have teamed up to honor veterans with a free Redbox movie rental from November 11 to November 13. Using the code "THANKAVET," customers can redeem a movie at a Redbox kiosk located at any store in the Kroger family, including Kroger, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry's, Harris Teeter, Jay C, King Soopers, QFC, Ralphs and Smith's.
