Recycling through kiosks a boon for Greenies

Recycling through self-service kiosks is gathering steam in a number of applications across the United States,according to Discovery News, a website from Discovery Communications, parent of the Discovery Channel.
For example, PepsiCo and partner Waste Management plan to set up thousands of reverse recycling machines nationwide capable of accepting hundreds of bottles and aluminum cans each; a device at a Florida college will crush the cans and shred the bottles that are fed into it; and Coinstar invested in ecoATM, the cell-phone recycler.
