Canadian company's kiosk to ease recycling woes

October 27, 2014

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based Encorp Pacific has announced the opening of its Return-It Express Depot in Yaletown, Vancouver for returning used beverage containers.

The Depot features an automated kiosk for customers to drop off a bag of used beverage containers without sorting and receive refunds to their online account. Refunds can be deemed for check or e-gift cards, or donated to a charitable organization.

"Return-It Express is designed for densely populated areas like downtown Vancouver where there are not many options for residents to return used beverage containers for refund," said Scott Fraser, president and CEO of Encorp Pacific. "This new and innovative system makes the recycling process much simpler and more convenient for everyone. We hope this easy to use system will encourage even more people to keep beverage containers out of the landfills."
