Recyclable phone charger machines installed in Knoxville, Tennessee mall

A pair of Power Drop machines that sell single-use, recyclable phone chargers have been installed in the West Town Mall in Knoxville, Tennessee, according to a press release. Customers who have a low phone battery will now have an effective solution for just $5.

The machines are located within the first level near the Forever 21 and Abercrombie and Fitch stores.

The end user purchases a charger out of the machine, unwraps it from its package and plugs the charger into their phone. 

The machine features a 13.6-inch advertising media screen and dispenses packaged, one-time disposable 1200 mAh battery chargers for both iPhone/iPad Lightning and Android Micro-USB devices.

• Cashless payment
• Real time sales reports
• Location assistance

This month, Power Drop will be unveiling its new 1200 milliamp charger.
