Radiant completes divestiture of enterprise software biz

ATLANTA -- Radiant Systems Inc., a provider of systems for managing and supporting site operations of retail and hospitality businesses, has completed the previously announced split-off of its enterprise software business which will be known as BlueCube Software following the transaction.

The split-off transaction received the approval of approximately 70 percent of the disinterested shareholders of Radiant at the special meeting of shareholders held on Jan. 30, according to a news release.

Radiant provides store technology for the foodservice, petroleum and convenience store, and cinema industries. Radiant's point-of-sale, self-service kiosk, and back-office technology enables operators to drive top-line growth and improve bottom-line performance, the release said.
