Quench introduces water and ice dispenser for work sites

Quench, a Culligan company and a provider of filtered water solutions for businesses across the U.S. and Canada, has introduced the Quench 960, a high-capacity water and ice dispenser, according to a press release.

The Quench 960 connects to an existing water supply to provide workplaces with up to 125 pounds of chewable nugget ice and freshly filtered ambient or hot drinking water on-demand.

"For years our customers have been asking for a small form, high-capacity drainless ice machine with hot water," Ted Hertz, Quench's vice president of product management, said in the press release. "In response to our customers' needs, we introduced a system with unparalleled capabilities."

In addition to the being the industry's first drainless high-capacity ice system with hot water dispensing capabilities, the Quench 960 also features enhanced sanitary features:

• Air filter and ice chute door to minimize the possibility of "contaminated" air from entering the machine, ensuring crystal clear ice.
• LED UV-C light technology to prevent biofilm and bacteria growth in the ice melt pan.
• Dual auger to prevent ice bridging and ice fusing.

"We needed to replace two existing water and ice machines due to poor service from the prior company we worked with" said Missy Halden, loan officer assistant for finance of America Mortgage and a Quench customer. "With limited space in our breakroom, the combined ice, ambient and hot water system was a great solution for us. We have had a great experience with Quench. From the initial inquiry, Quench has provided excellent communication and responsiveness."

The Quench 960 floor-standing system stands 45 inches tall and is ADA compliant, while also enabling most users to dispense their beverage without bending down. The ice and water dispenser is also available as a space-saving countertop machine (Quench 965).

Both the floor-standing and countertop systems can be installed on an existing water supply anywhere in an office building or facility since they do not require a drain connection. The Quench 960 and 965 are available nationwide in the U.S. and Canada.
