Product sampling and fundraising kiosk installed in Georgia high school

Students at Milton High School in Milton, Georgia, can now purchase school supplies and other items from a self-serve kiosk stocked by local organizations, according to the Alpharetta Patch.

The kiosk, installed by Cause Local, an Alpharetta firm specializing in fundraising technologies, was developed through a collaboration that included the Georgia Tech Advanced Technology Development Center, Alpharetta Tech, Atlanta Tech Village, interns, entrepreneurs and high school students. Customers using the kiosks can sample products and answer digital questionnaires about their opinions of the products, providing market research for companies.

School groups and outside organizations can sell items through the kiosk, which gives visibility to brands and provides a way for organizations to raise funds.
