Pro-Tech names 'renegade executive' Don Turner CEO

ATLANTA — Self-styled "renegade executive" Donald H. Turner was named chief executive of Pro-Tech Solutions. Turner will lead the company's three business lines: Pro-Tech, industrial computer workstation systems; Pro-Tech Kiosks, self-service kiosks; and theQsolution, the newest of the Pro-Tech line of self-service kiosks.
Turner's first role as CEO of Pro-Tech Solutions is to restructure and revitalize the company.
"I go into companies that are growing at a single-digit rate and look for innovative restructuring and growth opportunities in ways that they simply hadn't considered," Turner said. "Clearly, my job is to push the envelope."
One of the key challenges facing Turner will be to push the company to take advantage of the rapid growth in the self-service kiosk marketplace. That includes taking a hardware-only company and transforming it into a provider of integrated hardware, software, consulting and service.
"Don brings a lot of the skills and experience we need to take advantage of the marketplace opportunities in front of us," said Peter Kaszycki, president and founder of Pro-Tech. "I couldn't be happier about Don joining us and look forward to working with him as we continue to add to the success of our rich history."
