Software developer Porteus has released an update to its Linux-based kiosk software to improve overall functionality, according to a Porteus press release.
The software, called Porteus Kiosk 3.4.0, has a variety of changes such as support for Google Chrome as a browser in addition to Mozilla Firefox. It also allows kiosk ISO images to be saved on removable devices and for custom resolution to be set up on all multiscreen kiosks. The software also supports x86-compatible tablets.
Porteus Kiosk 3.4.0 is available immediately for download on the Porteus site.
