Greenwood, Ind., residents soon will be able to report minor crimes via a kiosk in the local police station.
According to an article on dailyjournal.net, the Greenwood Police Department plans to install the kiosk next month, with hopes that those wishing to report crimes such as petty burglary will utilize the machine rather than tie up an officer.
Officials also are considering putting an additional kiosk in a local shopping mall, Assistant Chief of Police Matthew Fillenwarth said in the article.
