LAS VEGAS -- Polaroid Corporation is displaying its latest generation technology for digital printing, the Polaroid 2-Second Digital Prints kiosk, at the 2004 Photo Marketing Association (PMA) International Annual Convention and Trade Show here today through Feb. 15.
The simple user interface of the Polaroid 2-Second Digital Prints kiosk allows consumers to select, print and pay for 24 4x6-inch glossy prints in two minutes. This advanced print speed makes the kiosk the fastest, most convenient way to print photographs from a digital camera, according to a news release. See related story, "Speed is the killer for Polaroid kiosks."
All PMA have the opportunity to print their own digital camera photos at the 2-Second Digital Prints kiosk at the Polaroid Booth, number E40.
Robert Gregerson, Polaroid's vice president and general manager, Americas, will address the PMA's consumer markets general session at 8:30 a.m., PT, Fri., Feb. 13. Gregerson will reflect on some of the most important trends facing the retail photography industry as it adapts to the digital revolution.
