SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Pixel Magic Imaging Inc. will provide photo imaging kiosks to more than 100 camera centers owned by Canadian one-hour photo company Japan Camera Centers, Inc.
According to a report in the Austin (Texas) Business Journal, Pixel Magic will provide its iStation Systems, countertop kiosks which provide digital camera printing, image CD burning and image enhancement, to Markam, Ontario-based Japan Camera Centers.
The Japan Camera Centers' alliance with Pixel Magic Imaging also includes an agreement with Tokyo-based Konica Corp. for its digital minilab printers.
George Briggs, Pixel Magic Imaging's chief executive, said, "We believe that our front-end solution, coupled with Konica's digital printing technology, will position Japan Camera Centre to offer quality digital photo services at a great price point to its customers."
Japan Camera 1 Hour Photo opened its first store in 1959 and has more than 100 photofinishing labs across North America.
