Orlando Sentinel: Photo kiosks are projected to account for 4.5 billion prints this year, a ninefold increase from the 500 million prints made just three years ago, according to the Photo Marketing Association International. "Kiosks have been fairly mainstream for three years, but they're reaching higher levels each year," said Chad Munce, the trade association's group executive for digital-imaging markets. "Drugstores were the first, then other retailers. Now the independent camera stores are adding areas with 10 to 12 kiosks, lounges, coffee service, and play areas for the kids."
