Photo imaging kiosk company opens London office

March 21, 2004

Texas-based Pixel Magic Imaging has opened its first international office, in London, to market its photo imaging kiosks and digital imaging solutions in Europe.

"We're pleased to have our European office up and running," said Dave Erne, Pixel Magic Imaging's vice president of business-to-business sales, in a release. "We've had a great deal of interest in our products internationally and are excited to now be in a position to explore those relationships."

Pixel Magic received the Digital Imaging Marketing Association's award for the top stand-alone photo kiosk at the 2004 Photo Marketing Association convention recently held in Las Vegas.

The PMA show is the largest photography convention in the country.

At the show, Pixel introduced its camera-phone printing application-Print2Store-which allows consumers to order prints online and have them printed at their local retail store. Also introduced was Pixel Perfect Pictures, a combination of improved software, printing and media technologies that improves image quality.

Pixel Magic's photo kiosks can print at speeds up to 5.5 seconds per print. The company's One Touch Digital Printing workflow, which provides digital prints with the touch of a single button, automatically corrects exposure defects and eliminates red-eye.
