Vancouver (Canada) International Airport entered into an agreement with Phoenix (Arizona) Sky Harbor International Airport in June 2014 for the sale of 12 self-service customs kiosks to the Arizona airport, according to a press release.

The BorderXpress Automated Passport Control kiosks are now available to international passengers to speed up the U.S. Customs and Border Protection process. The machines were installed in July at Sky Harbor, one of 22 airports in the US and Canada to add APC services, according to akfyi.com article.

Processing time through customs has reduced 80 percent, the article said.
