Philadelphia restaurant installs self-serve kiosks with facial recognition

April 6, 2018

Fuel, a Philadelphia restaurant, is launching self-serve kiosks with facial recognition to expedite orders at three University City and Center City locations, according to metro.us.

The kiosks display nutritional information and pictures of all items customers are ordering, for a faster and more interactive experience, restaurant owner Rocco Cima said. The kiosks also display the customer's past orders.
