Paypoint deploys new POS for remote management of retail kiosks

Payment technologies company Paypoint has selected Moki's Total Control POS terminal to deploy in the U.K. and worldwide, in order to provide remote management and security compliance for its bill-payment kiosks and other devices.

Payment technologies company Paypoint has selected Moki's Total Control POS terminal to deploy in the U.K. and worldwide, according to a Moki press release.

Paypoint handles over 14 billion euros annually and provides technology to 37,000 retail locations. Moki Total Control is designed to allow remote management and policy compliance for PayPoints in-store payment kiosks and other devices.

"By implementing Moki Total Control, we are able to engage retailers, merchants and consumers across a multichannel payment spectrum as well as aggressively expand our international footprint in a dramatically more seamless and scalable fashion," Paypoint CIO Jon Marchant said in the release.

"In-store payments are the cornerstone of the customer experience and enable our partners to create and nurture brand loyalty," Moki CEO Tom Karren said in the release. "The combination of Moki’s built-in security, over-the-air remote management capabilities and PayPoint’s cutting-edge payments technology will set a new industry standard for scalability, ease-of-use and customer engagement."
