Pay-and-display parking kiosks debut

Sacramento(Calif.) Business Journal: The first 100 of 300 new pay-and-display parking kiosks have been deployed in downtown and midtown Sacramento, Calif. Drivers walk to the kiosks, pay for parking, then return to their vehicles to display their receipts, which have peel-and-stick backings. Users tape the receipts to the inside of their vehicles' street side windows. Unexpired time is transferable to other parking spots downtown.
