PaleoExpress, a supplier of healthy ready-to-eat food, is rolling out its Paleo Diet vending machines.
Food supplied by Santa Rosa, California-based PaleoExpress includes grass fed meats, organic grain-free nut based granolas and bars, sweet potato and apple purees, and recovery drinks.
"Many times I have found myself frustrated when trying to find the 'least bad' food while traveling," Will Bomar, PaleoExpress' partner and cofounder, said in a statement. "I envision our machines offering relief to those in a nutritional desert."
PaleoExpress says that, as its products are minimally processed and contain no preservatives, all its vending solutions are climate-controlled and restocked frequently.
PaleoExpress is not a franchise or traditional vending method. The business is based on a "partner program," or profit-share collaboration with a host location that helps to maintain the equipment. Sales are tracked in a real-time cloud database for fast replenishment from the company’s distribution warehouse.
PaleoExpress vending solutions can be found in CrossFit and other fitness facilities. The company's expansion targets include airports, universities and high demand locations.
