Montgomery County in Pennsylvania has deployed three self-service payment kiosks that allow people to pay fines and court costs associated with court cases, according to mainlinemedianews.com.
Previously, fines and costs could only be paid in person at the Clerk of Courts Office at the county courthouse, by mail or online, the article said.
"It provides convenience for people who owe fines and costs to the Court of Common Pleas," Clerk of Courts Ann Thornburg Weiss said in the article. "Secondly, it will help the county in increasing the revenues that are owed to the county in terms of criminal fines and costs."
