Olea Kiosks has introduced a patient self-check-in kiosk designed to be fully ADA and HIPAA compliant, according to a company press release.
The Cambridge Kiosk does not require an adjustable height mechanism. Instead, the kiosk's peripherals extend forward in order to provide full-front access by wheelchair-bound patients. This kiosk also features a quick change hardware system that allows for easy removal of hardware using no tools, and it is entirely serviceable from the front side, which in turn reduces downtime and allows for back-to-back and circular positioning of multiple units, the release said.
The Cambridge is compatible with all healthcare kiosk software programs, including software made by Epic, PatientWorks, Siemens, McKesson and NextGen. Olea will showcase the Cambridge live in booth #1590 at HIMSS 2014 from Feb. 23-27, in Orlando, Fla.
