The Parkway Center, a senior services provider in Oneida County, New York, has rolled out a new AgeNet kiosk to help seniors get information and resources. AgeNet is a program started by the Oneida County Office for Aging and Continuing Care to provide digital health services to senior citizens, according to a report by the Utica Observer Dispatch.

Senior citizens can use the kiosks to find out about health resources in the area. The Parkway Center used a $4,300 grant from the Mele Family Fund of The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties to buy the kiosk.

"The AgeNet kiosk will enhance the Parkway Center's communications by making this information readily available and easily accessible, not only for our members but the greater community as well," said Kelly Walters, executive director of the Parkway Center.

"When seniors are able to safely live in the comfort of their home, they can age with dignity and independence," Ray Mele said. "The AgeNet kiosk is a tremendous resource for seniors because it provides a comprehensive library of the tools and information needed to achieve this important goal."
