New device aims to curb identity theft

The Arizona Republic: San Mateo, Calif.-based GuardID Systems Inc. has created a new product designed to protect Internet users against phishing and other online identity-theft scams. The device uses a two-factor approach to personal information, which means users will need a second form of identification, like a PIN number, when making transactions.
