NetNearU expanding wired, wireless network

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- NetNearU is expanding its wired and wireless network after signing several large contracts worth more than $600,000, according to a company news release.

NetNearU currently powers more than 1,200 Internet-access locations worldwide. The company's TRACKOS management system monitors public access networks and handles end-user billing and reconciliation.

Clients include TCG Public Communications Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T Corp.; Verizon Communications Inc.; Federated Systems Group Inc., a subsidiary of Federated Department Stores Inc.; Spring Pay Phone Services Corp.; and British Petroleum Oil UK Limited.
